The stable family

Trippi is our big gentle scaredy-cat. He feels most comfortable in a group, happily hiding behind one of his friends for emotional and physical support. Trippi is big, very gentle to ride, but still has a little trouble staying on the straight line and following the track — mostly because he gets scared of sounds. Riders need patience and a lot of kindness. Once you’ve won his trust, you can enjoy the most beautiful, smooth gaits with him.

IT is very stubborn on the sand arena and likes to swing his little booty to the inside from time to time. On the trail, he’s fast as lightning. He’s one of the smaller horses, friendly (to humans), and very soft and smooth to ride. Once he has your heart, he becomes a lifelong companion… just with a strong personality and a mind of his own.

Once mega tall, mega fast, a true legend.

Today? More… energy-efficient. A little stubborn, occasionally selective about effort.

In the sand arena, he likes to swing his little booty to the inside — just to keep you humble.

On the trail? Fast as lightning. Blink and he’s gone.

Calm, clever, sometimes thick-headed — but wake the animal in him and ohhhh… the legend is back.

Friendly (to humans), smooth to ride, and once he has your heart, he’s yours for life.

Abu is also our coach – basically the horse whisperer with a toolbox. With years of riding experience under his belt, he loves leading groups through the sugarcane plantations like it’s an epic safari adventure. When he’s not guiding riders, he’s fixing, repairing, maintaining… and giving the horses the VIP grooming treatment they absolutely deserve.

Azhaar is a hands-on handyman and all-round legend who keeps the stable in top shape with his magic touch. He grooms the stalls like a five-star spa manager and always makes sure the horses are living their best lives.

Saif is our head of administration – the mastermind behind the scenes who also knows his horse ABCs inside and out. His warm smile welcomes you to the stable with true Mauritanian calm, setting the tone for good vibes, smooth organization, and happy horses all around.

Carla has been leading the stable over more than 20 years. Alongside her full-time job as a teacher, she also works as a coach on Sundays, bringing many years of experience, passion, and know-how to the team and riders.

Jack is our new super groom and is still learning the basics of working with horses. He keeps the stable in top shape with a lot of care and sensitivity, and he looks after and nurtures our horses very well.

Ben works part-time at the stable and provides strong support whenever the other grooms take a break. He helps feeding the horses, clean the stalls and prepares the horses for lessons and trail rides with great dedication.

Sara is the stable’s official guard dog — highly trained in tail-wagging, snack detection, and pretending she didn’t just steal someone’s attention.
